Hiero is an experimental display typeface designed using a square grid and whose forms are limited to the use of four geometries: a circle, 3:7 rectangle, isosceles-acute, and isosceles-right triangle. After each form is designed, subtle detailing is applied to contrast with its simple shape, giving the appearance of depth, scale, and assembly.
